Scarborough and Fraisthorpe

Sailed Scarborough in the morning until the tide was at the sea wall and then moved down to Fraisthorpe. It was really windy, the A1surf report with a windguru forecast embedded into it was spot on. I started on a 5.8m and soon chaged to a 5.2m and quickly changed down to a small waveboard. I could have done with my new 4.2m but unfortunately Chris still had it in his van. The wind was cross on and the jumping was great fun. The wave riding was difficult because I was so overpowered. Two Saturdays on the trot.

A German lad and his friends sailed at Cayton Bay on his 4.2m, they came to Scarborough about 20 minutes before I rolled up and decided it was too big. A shame because it wasn’t too bad when you lauched from the top end of the beach.

More wind and waves tommorow see you on the water.
